Bluetooth

1. Pair the phone and your PC.
2. Copy the .jar to the phone.
3. The phone may ask you to choose a destination for the file, there should be some 'application' area available.

External Memory Cards

1. Copy the book files to the external memory card (e.g. miniSD, microSD) for your phone.
2. Insert the card into the phone.
3. On the phone, locate the file and launch it.
   • Some phones will run the book directly from the memory card.
   • Some will want to install the book in the phone's main memory and will ask if you want to download or install it.
   • They will most likely install the program in the usual application area.
   • Note: on Blackberry devices use the media player and choose 'explore' from the menu to navigate the memory card, 'open' the .jar to begin installation.

USB Connection

Your phone may have a USB connector and manager software.

1. Run the manager program.
2. Copy the .jar file to a folder in the phone.

Note: The manager software provided with some phone models (eg.LG model U8360) may not install JavaTM programs to the phone. You will need a Java uploader, for example Game-Thing offers a fantastic Java uploader that also does many of the ' vanilla ' manager tasks (like transferring photos) much better than some phone software.

Direct to phone "over the air"

If you can access the Internet from your phone then:

1. Use the phone's browser to navigate to http://mobile.booksinmyphone.com
2. Download directly by quoting the Download Code for the desired book.
3. The Download Code appears on each book's page.
4. Click on the link for the book you want to download
5. The phone should prompt you to install it. Usually this is a two click process; the first to fetch details of the download, and the second to allow installation.
